Jesus Christ as the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity is equal to the Father

Isaiah 9:6
For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

John 1:1-14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.
