Lesson Plan Project
As a Coordinator of Religious Education the first day on the job I started looking at catechetical textbook series. The principle part of my job was to run the preschool-9th grade confirmation program. I quickly found that the perfect textbook series does not exist - one that is completely faithful to the Catholic faith while employing an excellent methodology and covering all the material needed to give our children the "full Deposit of Faith".This project will seek to develop and complete a system of lesson plans for catechists in the Church to use along side their existing programs. This is not meant to be the "perfect program" we described above, only to supplement what is currently available.

Any catechist is welcome to help us complete this project. Each lesson plan will be completed according to the Ecclesial Method. It will be reviewed and approved before being posted in a PDF format. In order to help with the project simply pick any lesson in any category below, and use the Ecclesial Method template provided to complete the lesson plan. Once 90% or more of the project is complete we will send it to the Church for approval and declarations that the material is not objectionable.
